approximate. Star#1 has a reliable Tycho-2 magnitude of V=10.26+/-0.04.

2. There is an RASNZ chart, number 916, available for this variable, 
with a lettered sequence. 

3. VY Scl appears to fluctuate between magnitudes V=12.7 and V=13.1 at 
maximum. At minimum this variable fades to about V=18.5.
